Menaji Advanced Men’s Skincare Launches #SaveWater Campaign

Flint Child Health & Development FundOn World Water Day last week, Menaji Advanced Men’s Skincare launched its #SaveWater campaign. Prompted by clean water issues in Flint, MI, and South Florida as well as drought conditions in the West, the company aims to promote water conservation and bring awareness to the global water scarcity crisis. Menaji is challenging men to turn off their faucets when they groom and choose products that require little-to-no water, such as the Power Hydrator Aftershave and ClearShave 3-in-1 Formula, in their daily routines. "Water is the new oil,” says Yvonne Lederer, director of sales and marketing. “We need to connect the dots between grooming and water scarcity. If we can get guys to remember that by using Menaji ClearShave 3-in-1 gel, they can turn off their faucet when they shave, save a ton of water, and get out the door quickly, saving a ton of time. We've done some social good at a critical time when people need to re-learn how to use this precious resource when grooming."

Throughout 2016, the campaign will feature contests and giveaways using the hashtag #SaveWater. Each month, Menaji will give away randomly one ClearShave 3-in-1 Formula to a lucky follower on Instagram and Twitter. Each month, the company will also feature a different water conservation topic and give tips and pointers on how to use less water for grooming. At the end of the year, Menaji plans on donating a portion of its proceeds from all of sales in December to the Flint Child Health & Development Fund, which supports local children exposed to lead due to the 2014-2016 Flint Water Crisis.
