Millennium's Blog Features Small Business Owners

In honor of National Small Business Week on May 6, Millennium Systems International has announced it will feature a small business’ story every day starting April 30. The seven stories will be posted to the Millennium blog, The Business Side of Beauty.

According to CNBC, the health industry is one of the top five industries most likely to succeed as a small business. Since its founding in 1963, National Small Business Week recognizes the contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners across the country. Small business owners and employees make up more than half of the U.S. population, and small businesses create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. This year, Millennium is going to feature some of those small business owners in its new blog series and tell their success stories.

Using the hashtag #MySmallBizWhy, Millennium Systems International will support online marketing company Constant Contact’s program inviting small business owners to share on social media why they started their small business. “Celebrating small business is truly celebrating the heart of what makes America great. The fact that I could start a company in my basement with a second-rate computer and a dream shows that small businesses can succeed when they love what they do and build a strong team around them,” says Millennium Founder and CEO John Harms.
