MindBody has launched a new business app that allows users to use the MindBody software from a smartphone or tablet. Now, MindBody users can check and manage schedules, book and sign in customers, and run transactions on MindBody’s point of sale from anywhere.
The app allows users to track their business and see sales info in real time. A Business Snapshot feature lets users track numbers at any time from any place. The calendar feature gives users the power to access their schedule remotely, sign in clients, and manage staffing on the go.
Users have the ability to browse service schedules, cancel classes, and manage wait lists. Staff management opportunities include the ability to view and adjust staff availability as well as list substitute class instructors, while client-management opportunities include booking, signing up and signing in clients, looking up and managing client info (including visiting and purchasing histories), and reactivating expired passes.
Regarding points of sale, users will also be able to sell contracts and set up recurring payments; collect and store signatures for contracts, term agreements, and digital liability waivers; process credit and debit cards; cash checks or gift card payments; email receipts; set up split payments or payments for separate accounts; post-auth tips; and reconcile unpaid classes and appointments, and view unpaid visits.
