Montage International Partners with One Medical to Launch Digital Healthcare Service

States around the country are beginning to loosen their stay at home orders allowing businesses to re-open, including within the hospitality sector. With hotels, resorts, and spas opening their doors, visitors want safety to be ensured before booking any stays. To aid with easing hesitations, the health and primary care organization One Medical collaborated with Montage International to design a round-the-clock digital healthcare tool for leisure and business travelers.

For guests staying at any U.S.-based Montage Hotels & Resorts or Pendry Hotels & Resorts, the company will offer a 30-day membership to One Medical’s digital health services. Memberships with the service aim to get guests in touch with their One Medical health care provider through video chat or messaging both during their stay and upon their return home.

Using the One Medical App also enables users to work with the company’s virtual medical team. Users can describe symptoms and get a recommended care plan based off of concerns or conditions, request prescription renewals, and even receive skin assessments for conditions like a rash.

Convenience and safety were the biggest priorities when rolling out this launch, according to the CEO and chair of One Medical, Amir Dan Rubin. “Having convenient access to reliable health care, both digitally and in-person, is more important than ever for travelers,” says Rubin. “We are pleased to pair One Medical’s modern, service-oriented, and technology-powered approach to health care with Montage International’s commitment to excellence for its associates and guests.”

For those seeking out in-person care, then in areas where One Medical has offices, guests can make appointments for primary care needs, including COVID-19 testing. Additionally, U.S.-based Montage associates will be provided with annual One Medical memberships to provide healthcare and help ease any anxieties about returning to work.

Founder and CEO of Montage International, Alan J. Fuerstman, wants to make sure guests feel safe and comfortable at their establishments. “It is paramount that our guests feel safe while they are staying with us and our associates are comfortable coming back to work in our hotels,” said Fuerstman. “Partnering with One Medical allows us to continue to provide extraordinary service to our guests and expand our already robust medical benefits to our associates with seamless virtual care to ease their minds and ensure safety and well-being.”
