MyFaceMyBody Announces 2020 Virtual Awards Show and Summit

Surviving and functioning smoothly during the COVID-19 Coronavirus epidemic will be difficult for all businesses, and most have already taken the step to work remotely using virtual technology. Esthetics industry resource MyFaceMyBody  tested the waters last year by holding its annual Global Aesthetic Awards virtually for the first time. It also hosted the GVAS, the first-ever Global Virtual Aesthetic Summit, a virtual trade summit for the esthetics industry, which included virtual seminars, conferences, and a virtual networking lounge. In light of the recent crisis, the MyFaceMyBody Awards 2020 and GVAS 2020 will also entirely be held online.

“Virtual technology means that companies can still work, remain current, learn and survive,” says Stephen Handisides, CEO of MyFaceMyBody and GVAS. “With physical events being cancelled all over the world, GVAS and MyFaceMyBody still mean that even those that are self-isolating can be involved, engage, take part and learn in a safe environment. We are helping companies by setting them up virtual meetings in GVAS where they can still have client meetings in an online space.”

The MyFaceMyBody Virtual Global Aesthetic Awards 2020 will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 5:00 pm PDT. The awards will be streamed live from Los Angeles and the awards program is now open for submissions.

GVAS 2020 will hold an Essentials Agenda Meeting on May 30, during which attendees will hear from three industry giants on their business journeys and success stories. Additionally, the GVAS Summit will be held on November 14 and 15. Industry professionals from all over the world will be able to meet and discuss in a virtual space for 48 hours. The event, available in English, Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese, incudes opportunities to visit regional exhibition halls, engage with vendors, and learn about the latest technologies from all around the globe.

Says Handisides, “Virtual technology is the way of the future!”
