This week at ISPA, Noel Asmar, founder of Noel Asmar Uniforms, is launching a series of four new runway-inspired uniforms. The styles feature fashion design elements like exposed zippers, tuxedo-like silhouettes, bell sleeves, mixed media, and innovative fabrics for added functionality. “Our design philosophy is to think about every moment of the experience and create styles that result in greater efficiency and a nicer experience on several levels,” says Noel Asmar, CEO and lead designer of the brand. The garments are antibacterial, odor resistant, hygienic, non-toxic, pill resistant, breathable, and fast-drying. The uniforms also are designed with side panels, allowing more stretch and breathability, slits and pleats that allow for greater range of movement, and fabrics that are noise resistant and manage moisture. The pieces are featured in the campaign Portraits of a Uniform, created by Asmar to celebrate those working in the hospitality industry.
