Rosewood CordeValle Names Michelle Christensen Spa Manager

Sense, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood CordeValle (San Martin, CA) has named Michelle Christensen spa manager. In her new role, Christensen will oversee all high-level operations and programming at Sense, A Rosewood Spa, in addition to creating new fitness programs within the natural grounds of the resort. “We are delighted to welcome Michelle Christensen to Rosewood CordeValle’s executive team,” says managing director Luca Rutigliano. “Michelle’s insight of the spa industry, personal fitness experience, and enthusiasm will further the resort’s programing, allowing guests to experience the best of North California while they are staying with us.” Christensen brings nearly 10 years of spa experience to her new role. She got her start in the spa industry at Burke Williams Day Spa (multiple locations), where she was in charge of day-to-day operations as well as recruitment. Immediately prior to joining Rosewood CordeValle, Christensen was the general and operations manager at LaBelle Day Spa and Salons, where she gained further experience in sales and operations.

Sense, A Rosewood Spa was designed to complement to the resort’s 260-acre golf course. The spa features therapeutic whirlpools and steam rooms enhanced with essential oils, in addition to luxurious treatments that incorporate the natural healing properties of the region’s plants, herbs, minerals, and fruits. Within the spa are eight treatment rooms, each offering a private garden to bring the wonder of the outdoors, indoors.
