Relaxation is just a soak away at Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Mexico City, thanks to the recently introduced complimentary bath tea menu.

The amenity encourages guests to relax with a bath featuring locally sourced ingredients, such as lavender, lemongrass, and rose leaves. Specially blended by the team at Aurora, The Spa at Las Alcobas, the bath teas help guests overcome jet lag, relieve sore muscles, and induce a state of calm post-flight. A butler will prepare the bath of guests’ choice from the following menu:

  • Jet Lag, which contains arnica, camphor, and lemongrass, reduces swelling and sore muscles.

  • Sensual, which includes cacao, orange, and rose, to increase yin and relax the mind and body.

  • Relaxing, which features chamomile, lavender, and mint, to stimulate a cooling effect.

The soak is blissful on its own or when experienced after a treatment at Aurora, The Spa at Las Alcobas, like the Aurora Scrub Bar. At the bar, guests team up with a wellness therapist to prepare their own customized scrub for the treatment. The spa offers a selection of fresh ingredients like almond, walnut, cocoa, salt, brown sugar, coffee, and chocolate, and essential oils including lavender, rosemary, orange, and sage to mix and match in each personalized scrub. All scrubs are 30 minutes and only take about five minutes to prepare. Either way, this in-room bath tea amenity will have guests jumping at the chance to get into hot water.
