Supergoop! Partners with Vail Resorts

Supergoop!, a prestige sun- and skincare brand, has collaborated with Vail Resorts as the company’s official skincare partner. This exclusive, five-year relationship will focus on introducing the importance of sun safety to employees and guests visiting Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, or Keystone in Colorado, Park City in Utah, Heavenly, Northstar, or Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe, Afton Alps in Minnesota, or Mt. Brighton in Michigan. “I have been skiing in Colorado my whole life and it wasn't until about a decade ago that I began to see helmets become the rule rather than the exception,” says Holly Thaggard, founder and CEO of Supergoop! “We want to see sun safety also become the norm and we are excited to partner with Vail Resorts to help lead the charge and spread this message. With Vail Resorts and its employees as ambassadors of sun safety, sun education will be delivered in a fun, ‘feel good’ spirit that is paramount to the Supergoop! Brand.” Supergoop! Products will be available for purchase in key Vail Resorts retail locations and complimentary samples will be distributed on the mountain, in ski schools, select hotel locations, and elsewhere throughout the ski season.

Skin cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S., and most cases are preventable. The U.S. Surgeon General has issued a “Call to Action to Prevent Skin Cancer” encouraging partners in prevention from various sectors across the nation to address skin cancer as a national health concern.  This partnership with a winter playground further spotlights Supergoop!’s forward-thinking position on UV protection, and reinforces the brand’s mission to elevate the importance of suncare every single day, regardless of climate or season. “Vail Resorts supports and encourages year-round sun protection,” says Kelley Baer, director of strategic partnerships for Vail Resorts. “This partnership with Supergoop! will help our guests and employees protect their skin while enjoying the outdoors at our iconic resorts.”
