Vermont’s Equinox Golf Resort and Spa Celebrates 250 Years With Luxury Packages

In honor of its 250th anniversary, The Equinox Golf Resort and Spa (Manchester, VT) will be offering various luxury experiences beginning January 29, 2019. Dating back to the Revolutionary War, The Equinox has become a historic site in New England. The resort has 17 guest rooms on site offering views of both the mountains and golf course. It is also situated in front of Mt. Equinox, which reaches over 3,800 feet in elevation. Presidents have even stayed here, including William Howard, Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, and Benjamin Harrison.

The Equinox 250th Luxury Anniversary Package is a weekend buyout for family and friends. It begins with a roundtrip helicopter ride originating from New York or Boston, before guests have the choice to stay in the historic Meadow House or Dormy House, both of which offer a country-chic vibe. During the stay, guests receive a personal innkeeper concierge to help coordinate the stay and a customized private dinner-under-the-stars created by executive chef, Daniel Black. Each guest has the opportunity experience a spa treatment at Spa at The Equinox, whether it be a waxing, massage, skincare treatment, or body treatment. Other wellness activities include a guided fly-fishing experience, a guided falconry hike with master falconer Rob White, and an off-roading adventure with a Land Rover through challenging courses that ends with guests keeping the Land Rover. This limited-time package ends on Dec. 31, 2019.

The Celebrate Love package is designed for couples to get engaged at The Equinox in 2019. By sharing this exciting day on social media using #EquinoxCelebrates250, the couple has the opportunity to win a complimentary wedding ceremony. Offers are also available for couples who book a renewal or anniversary celebration.

The Celebrate History package took place on February 2, where guests learned the story behind the 1811 House, a historic 13-room inn and former home of Abraham Lincoln’s granddaughter, Mary Lincoln Isham. It features award winning paintings as well as antique furniture. Guests ended the evening with the “Winter Warmer” which featured live acoustic music, outdoor fire pits, s’mores, and scotch tastings.

The Celebrate Vermont package allows guests to experience Vermont’s sugar seasoning at one the 30 Maple Town Houses. This experience will give guests a tour of one of the local sugar shacks. They will also receive a maple welcome amenity, maple inspired menu specials, and a special Maple Sugar Scrub at the spa.
