Washington Spa Alliance Announces Fourth Annual Symposium and Newsmakers Forum

The Washington Spa Alliance announced its fourth annual symposium, which will be held at the National Press Club (NYC) on June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will examine how the U.S. can be a nation of healthier and happier people. The conference will also feature town-hall-style conversations with local, regional, and national leaders. The interactive newsmaker forum, themed Intimate Conversations with Movers, Shakers, and News Breakers, is drawing a notable group of participants, including Pamela Peeke, M.D., MPH, FACP, chief lifestyle expert for WebMD, pew foundation scholar in nutrition and metabolism at the University of Maryland, senior Olympic triathlete and national spokesman for the Senior Olympics, and host of RadioMD/iHeart’s HER radio show; Todd Walter, CEO of Red Door Spa Holdings; Sheila C. Johnson, founder and CEO of Salamander Hotels & Resorts; Annbeth Eschbach, founder, president, and CEO of Exhale Enterprises; Ann McCall Wilson, owner and principal of McCall & Wilson; and Deborah Szekely, founder of Golden Door (CA), cofounder of Rancho La Puerta (multiple locations), and founder of Wellness Warrior; among others.
