What was the path that led you into the spa industry?
I was 20 years old when I began my career as a receptionist at a large hair salon, I immediately fell in love with the service business which made me feel right at home.That led me to study massage therapy and skincare.
What is your favorite place in the whole world?
Bali, and its spiritual people. I felt a sense of peace that I have never felt anywhere else.
If you could have any profession in the world, other than what you do now, what would you be?
I would be an interior designer or window merchandiser
What is your motto or concept that you live by?
Learn. Mentor. Teach.
What is your most treasured possession?
My moms pictures, she passed away 2 years ago.
What’s your go-to spa treatment?
Aromatherapy Massage
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Raising my children as a single mother and building my business-at the same time.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would be more patient.
Care to share any details on family life; i.e. spouse, partner, children, pets?
I have a 28 year daughter, a 32 year son and a beautiful 5 month old granddaughter. I also have a cute dog named Sparky, pictured with me.
Tell us two things about yourself we don’t know.
I LOVE to cook and I was born in a very small town in Mexico.
