How many years have you been involved in the spa industry?
13 years
 
What was the path that led you into the spa industry?
? I worked in luxury retail skin and hair care for 6 years before I had an opportunity to be part of a Spa management team. I was a core member of the first Aveda Lifestyle Spa and Salon in the state of Hawaii. Prior to that; I worked in the airline business for 15 years. Currently working in a luxury resort Spa environment is definitely the perfect combination of my hospitality and Spa management skills and passion for wellness.
 
What is your favorite place in the whole world?
Kailua Beach, Kailua, Hawaii
 
If you could have any profession in the world, other than what you do now, what would you be?
Professional Singer
 
What is your go-to spa treatment?
Deep tissue massage
 
 What is your proudest accomplishment?
Discovering and maintaining a successful second career in the Spa industry.
 
 If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
To always remember to center myself and find balance.
 
Care to share any details on family life; i.e. spouse, partner, children, pets?
I’ve been married for over 20 years to my husband Michael. We live in Ojai, CA with our dog Roxy.
 
Two things about yourself we don’t know
I’m a yogi who loves wine.
 
What is your motto or concept that you live by?
Why not go out on a limb-that’s where the fruit is. (Will Rogers)
 
What is your most treasured possession?
