Q & A with Peggy Francis, Principal and Partner of Francis & Alexander

Meet Peggy Francis of Francis and Alexander which consults with resorts and hotels when they want to revitalize their existing spa. And we assist resorts with their new spas from design and concept development, all the way to their opening day.

How many years have you been involved in the spa industry?
16 years

What was the path that led you into the spa industry?
In my late 30’s early 40’s, my spiritual life really came into forefront of my focus. During this time I became a Practitioner of Religious Science and was seeing clients for Spiritual Mind Healing sessions. Through this path I became a Reiki Master and Quantum Energy healer. I really loved the touch aspect of the work, so I got my massage certification. From that point, I began working at spas.

What is your favorite place in the whole world?
Wherever I am, as long as I am with people I love. Paris and South of France are especially nice with my sweetheart.

If you could have any profession in the world, other than what you do now, what would you be?
Artist/Designer

What is your go-to spa treatment?
Massage and Facial

 What is your proudest accomplishment?
My 40 year marriage, a healthy, happy daughter who is a great mother and a well-adjusted, creative 14 year old granddaughter. My partnership with Loma Alexander.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
That I would eliminate clutter from my life!!!

Care to share any details on family life; i.e. spouse, partner, children, pets?
Since I spoke about my 2-legged family above, let me tell you about the 4-legged member, Roscoe. Wait, there is not enough room here for me to write a full-length novel. He is a rescue pup that we adopted in March and instantly stole our hearts.

Two things about yourself we don’t know
I am a Southerner. I grew up in Natchez, Mississippi.
I turned 21 in Montana, headed to California in a VW Van. Yes, it was the 70’s.

What is your motto or concept that you live by?
I try to live by the Golden Rule.

What is your most treasured possession?
My health.
