COLUMBIA, MD — Dill Dinkers Pickleball, the established leader of indoor pickleball, known for its fun, friendly, and welcoming environment announced its fourth and fifth regional development deals with four brothers who have committed to the development of 10 locations along the coast of South Carolina and 10 locations in Connecticut.

The brothers, Scott Johnson, Max Johnson, Zach Larichiuta, and Dr. Wayne Johnson are a team composed of two mortgage lenders, an engineer, and a physician, who are dedicated to bringing indoor pickleball to their communities. Scott and Max currently reside in Connecticut while Zach and Wayne live in South Carolina.  They formed Pickleball Brothers LLC to develop the entire coastal zone of South Carolina from Myrtle Beach to Savannah, Georgia. In Connecticut, the team will develop several regions including Hartford County and the western side of Middlesex into the eastern side of New Haven County.

Also, as the founders of a non-profit based in Connecticut called Honor Connor, Hold Onto Hope (www.honorconnor.org), the family is passionate about the improvement of mental health and awareness in the community. Together they noticed how pickleball had exploded across the country and how the sport was transforming people's lives through interaction and common ground. After being introduced to Dill Dinkers and its founders, Will and Denise Richards, they valued how the brand was taking the sport further with an indoor offering focused on an inclusive community where people of all ages and skill levels have a place to gather, enjoy fun camaraderie and build relationships year-round. Through both Honor Connor and Dill Dinkers, they are excited to share the benefits of the sport and a state-of-the-art facility for economic development and youth development, community engagement, and the improvement of physical, mental, and social health for all.

“When we met the Dill Dinkers team, we valued how genuine and straightforward they were about the lessons they’ve learned and about the business model,” said Max Johnson of the Pickleball Brothers. “We knew they weren’t salespeople and were truly honest about their vision. Welcoming is not by accident. You have to build a place where people actually feel included and can have a strong connection, especially now with such a digital presence. We are looking forward to building relationships with our Dill Dinkers business and spreading the joy of pickleball to all.”

Since its inception in November 2022 in Columbia, Maryland, Dill Dinkers has been at the forefront of the pickleball phenomenon with its state-of-the-art dedicated indoor pickleball facilities. The company now has four locations in Maryland. With the announcement of its nationwide franchise launch, the brand has already signed developers in Texas, Washington D.C., North Carolina, Connecticut, South Carolina, and Arizona for 70 locations with over a hundred qualified applicants in the pipeline from across the country including in Canada and Mexico. Dill Dinkers is expecting to sign another 4 regional developers by year-end and open 30 locations in 2024.

"We started Dill Dinkers because of our unwavering passion for the sport and the community it has provided us,” said Co-Founder and CEO Will Richards. “As a former Dominos multi-unit franchisee, it was crucial for us to build a strong network of support ahead of our franchising launch, and now with our fourth and fifth regional developers onboard, we are thrilled to welcome passionate and reputable operators like the Pickleball Brothers who are just as dedicated to spreading the joy of pickleball. We look forward to seeing how the team extends our name in their community and how other entrepreneurs can benefit from a premier indoor pickleball offering and a strong network of support.”

Besides the single Dill Dinkers Pickleball Club franchise offer, the company offers territories for the development of multiple locations.  Each Dill Dinkers features nine revenue streams, a robust operating system, a proprietary reporting and management platform that is mobile-enabled, an intensive training system, and a turnkey marketing program for grand opening and membership development. Delivering a quality professional experience, the brand boasts a special partnership with JOOLA, a leading manufacturer of paddle sports, equipping each facility with top-notch nets, paddles, and other high-quality products.
