Salon Iris announced that its free mobile applications have been downloaded more than 20,000 times. The company recently updated the iPhone and iPad application to be fully compatible with the latest iOS5 release from Apple. The update also includes new features that allow users to edit client addresses and link directly to Google Maps through the application. In addition, Salon Iris has an Android application that works on all Android mobile devices. The app is fully compatible with the new Kindle Fire, and it will be available in the Kindle Appstore shortly. There is also an app being developed for the Barnes & Noble Nook.
