The Charleston Place has announced the debut of a new spa menu at The Spa utilizing organic, natural, and science-backed products in conjunction with the appointment of Dawn Spann as director of spa operations. Spann joins the hotel with more than two decades of experience in the spa and wellness industry, including nearly 10 years with Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA. Spann previously served as the director of spa & wellness at Wild Dunes Resort where she helped launch the 10,000-square-foot spa, and has contributed to the development of design concepts, spa and wellness programs for Mii Amo in Sedona, AZ, Release Well-Being Center in Westborough, MA, and The Spa at Cliff House Resort, Cape Neddick, ME.
In her new role as The Charleston Place’s director of spa operations, Spann will oversee The Spa’s new menu of holistic therapeutic practices and signature experiences, as well as day-to-day operations including the management of its 10 treatment rooms, relaxation lounge, sauna, steam room, and overall guest experience. “We are thrilled to welcome Dawn to The Spa at The Charleston Place,” says The Charleston Place’s Managing Director, Robert Megargle. “She has extensive experience managing luxury spas and we trust that her expertise and leadership will continue to enhance the wellness programming and guest experiences at our hotel.”
