Carneros Resort and Spa Launches "Get Buzzed at Carneros”

Carneros Resort and Spa (Napa Valley, CA) recently launched “Get Buzzed at Carneros”, which features a collection of new bee-centric wellness, culinary and hands-on experiences, including the launch of the Bee Cottage, a sensory journey where guests can immerse themselves in sound healing through the calming buzz of bees. “We are committed to being responsible stewards of this beautiful valley for its residents and visitors, so we have always incorporated sustainability into the luxury resort experience in a variety of ways,” says Edward Costa, managing director at Carneros Resort and Spa. “Get Buzzed will showcase the benefits of beekeeping and take our program in new directions, whether it’s a holistic wellness experience or enjoying honey-infused dishes and beverages.”

Spa and Wellness Treatments

  • Bee Cottage: Bee Mindful is a sensory journey that features the soothing buzz of bees and low-frequency vibrations, akin to a sound bath, while guests breathe in air enriched with propolis and beeswax to support respiratory health and boost immunity. This modern twist on ancient healing practices creates the ideal environment for rejuvenation, meditation, and overall wellbeing. The space features live beehives nestled underneath the relaxation bed and is screened for the safety of guests and bees.
  • Spa Treatments: The Spa at Carneros invites guests to enhance their wellness experience post-Bee Cottage with customized, honey-infused facials. Stand-out treatments include Hydration Boost, a deeply moisturizing honey mask designated to elevate the skin’s overall health and balance, alongside a relaxing body massage.

Culinary Offerings

  • FARM Restaurant + Bar: Guests can savor a variety of specialty cocktails including Hive 75 (Barr Hill Gin, lemon, honey sparkling wine), Bees Knees (Barr Hill Gin, lemon, honey), Liquid Gold (bourbon, honey liqueur, honey angostura, orange bitters), and Sticky Situation (Spring 44 honey vodka, honey liqueur, lemon, honey, iced tea).
  • Additionally, FARM will offer Morgan Brewing’s “Bees Better Have My Honey,” a unique interpretation of an American Wheat beer, plus two spirit-free cocktails – Bees with No Knees, a zero-proof alternative for Bees Knees, and Hibiscus Hive featuring honey, lemonade and hibiscus tea. And to pair with drinks, guests can order bee pollen pate de fruit.

Immersive Programming

  • All The Buzz: Learn about the ancient art of beekeeping with All The Buzz. Travelers can join the property for a scenic stroll to the on-site apiary – home to two log hives and one Langstroth hive – to observe the resort’s tiniest workers in action and learn more about their life cycle and habitat. Participants will also be given the chance to view the inside of a hive. Following the tour, guests can enjoy sweeping views of the property’s surrounding landscape while tasting local honey paired with cheese and a glass of wine.
