Mii amo (Sedona, AZ) recently announced the appointment of Christian Davies to general manager. Christian brings more than two decades of industry experience to the newly reopened Relais & Châteaux property, breathing fresh perspective and continued development into Mii amo’s signature Journey experience. Along with managing day-to-day operations of the famed all-inclusive luxury resort, Davies oversees the sales and marketing departments, as well as management of Mii amo’s veteran Mindfulness team and newly welcomed team members. “I am thrilled to be at the helm of an iconic destination spa that has paved the way for how we approach wellbeing for more than 20 years,” said Christian Davies. “I look forward to tapping into the spirit of the Canyon and further enhancing our one-of-a-kind Journey experience for both the tried and true Mii amo guest, as well as the next generation.”
Christian’s previous roles involved the opening of 12 global spas under Marriott International, including The Miami Beach EDITION, Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in San Jose del Cabo, and The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage. He also served as assistant spa director for the reopening and expansion of The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island’s 30,000-square-foot spa, and represented the U.S. North-East region as Spa Advisory Council Member. Most recently, Christian was director of spa and wellness with The Peninsula New York.
