SpaFinder Wellness, Inc., announced it has acquired SpaFinder Europe, the leading spa and wellness marketing and gifting resource in Europe. SpaFinder Europe, which was originally a joint venture, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of SpaFinder Wellness. “SpaFinder Europe has created a popular, localized version of SpaFinder.com, reaching hundreds of thousands of spa and wellness enthusiasts,” says Pete Ellis, chairman and CEO of SpaFinder Wellness. “By acquiring SpaFinder Europe, we are extending our commitment to provide the premiere inspiration, information, and experiences to help people everywhere find their path to wellness.”
SpaFinder Wellness is set to reveal its new business model, which will delve much deeper into health and wellness offerings for consumers; the company has developed new consumer applications over the last year. Ellis noted that the acquisition allows SpaFinder Wellness to introduce the new products and technology the company is about to deploy across a unified platform and rapidly expand its network, services, and products across the continent.
