Founded by entrepreneur, equestrian and Houston-native, LeBrina Johnson, Escape Spa was envisioned with intentions centered around recovery and wellness, incorporating mind, body, and spirit into every treatment. The inspiration behind Escape Spa was influenced by LeBrina’s upbringing when she worked in her mother’s hair salon and became a part of her family’s five generations of hair stylists. During this chapter of her life, she discovered her passion for going above and beyond customer expectations. Shortly after, LeBrina experienced a transformative massage where she realized she could go beyond providing beauty and hair care and support others on their wellness journey by opening her own healing retreat.
Designed by Amy McDonald of the renowned Under a Tree spa and wellness consultancy, the interiors of Escape Spa embody a sense of warmth and sophistication throughout the 5,000-square-foot indoor space. Escape Spa features eight spacious treatment rooms including a couple’s suite with its own private jacuzzi, separate locker facilities for men and women, a relaxation lounge equipped with a fireplace and eight private resting spots for added tranquility, and a self-care lounge for on-site retail consultations.
Escape Spa is at the forefront of fostering a holistic approach to guests’ wellness and recovery by providing all-access resort-style amenities including a co-ed wet room. Guests can soak in the 12-person hot tub or unwind in their dry sauna before stepping aside for a refreshing contrast bathing experience where the release of a bucket of cold water rejuvenates the senses. Additionally, guests can choose to relax and detoxify in the HaloIR salt-sauna suite as an optional add-on to their spa visit. Halotherapy is also known as salt therapy and is renowned for its ability to alleviate respiratory conditions, enhance immune function, and even soothe skin ailments. This pod also utilizes infrared lights and enhances cardiovascular health, aids in weight loss and promotes radiant skin along with helping the body eliminate toxins more effectively.
From personalized locker cards provided upon check-in to their welcoming staff and customized aroma rituals before every service, the attention to detail goes unmatched throughout every guest experience.
