Inside Miraval's New Suite Retreat

This month, Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa (Tucson, AZ) debuted The Retreat, which features 22 private suites and exclusive wellness amenities and overlooks the Santa Catalina Mountains from one of the highest vistas on property. Each of the suites provides incredible views and peaceful outdoor patios.

Designed by the award-winning interior design firm SFA Design, the suites draw inspiration from the Sonoran Desert and feature an earthy color palette, textured fabrics, wood floors, and custom furniture. The Retreat includes four types of accommodations: Solace, a studio; Reflection, a one-bedroom suite; Unity, a two-bedroom suite; and Gratitude, a three-bedroom suite. Complete with Miraval signature bedding, a free-standing soaking tub, an indoor-outdoor shower, and a patio with a hot tub and a fire pit, the suites also come with special amenities, such as an exclusive in-room massage menu featuring a selection of Life in Balance Spa massage services. Each suite also has a custom aromatherapy diffuser with scents designed to complement each guests’ Miraval journey, depending on whether they want to achieve relaxation, rejuvenation, or focus. A host of sleep-enhancing amenities are also included, such as a pillow menu and specialty snacks and beverages. Guests can also take advantage of a communal canvas and journal with reflections on their experiences at Miraval.

“For over 20 years, Miraval has been committed to providing a serene haven for our guests to grow mentally, spiritually, and emotionally,” says Marc Ellin, global head of Miraval Group. “The Retreat at Miraval Arizona exemplifies our vision, offering a peaceful ambience and exclusive experiences designed to inspire each guest to live a healthier, more mindful lifestyle.
