Inside The St. Regis Atlanta Spa at The St. Regis Atlanta

Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, renowned for its upscale malls, independent art galleries, trendy restaurants, and history, just got a lot more sophisticated with the opening of The St. Regis Atlanta Spa at The St. Regis Atlanta. The state-of-the-art spa, which opened in August 2020, takes the words luxury and high-end to another level with its attention to detail and pampering that starts the moment guests arrive at the spa. Upon entering the reception area of the sixth floor’s 6,000-square-foot retreat, guests are greeted with a chilled glass of Champagne, a ritual that pays homage to the legacy of celebration of the Astor family and The St. Regis New York. “The St. Regis Atlanta Spa offers guests a certain degree of privacy and luxury,” says Steven Carbajal, director of spa and fitness at The St. Regis Atlanta Spa. “The spa provides a tranquil and refined design that sets us apart from other spas in our area. We offer an exquisite Celebration Bar, and we invite our guests to indulge in a specialty cocktail after their treatment. We want to present our guests with the highest level of service they deserve.” The spa also offers relaxing tea by Tea Leaves, citrus- and mint-infused water, chocolate truffles, and sorbet.

While the tranquil design of the spa starts in the reception area—which features an eye-catching turquoise and gold mural, soft-blue velvet couches and chairs, and a retail display—it continues down a long hallway lined with single and couples’ treatment rooms, a nail service room, men’s and women’s lounges, and a sauna. The spa’s team of 19 associates work tirelessly to ensure that this serene feeling stays with guests as they enter the treatment rooms and receive their services. “I am very honored to have such amazing and talented ladies and gentlemen on my team who love what they do and are magnificent in helping me design and customize spa services,” says Carbajal. “This enables our clients to feel very pampered while they are at our spa.”

At The St. Regis Atlanta Spa, guests can enjoy a curated selection of facials, body treatments, massages, waxing, and nail services. The spa offers traditional services like the Radiate & Rise Facial ($205, 50 minutes; $310, 80 minutes), which uses organic ingredients to help boost the skin’s energy and protect it from pollution, leaving the skin reoxygenated, glowing, and flawless; and the St. Regis Serene ($170, 50 minutes; $275, 80 minutes), which is a gentle massage intended to help relax the mind and body and melt away everyday stress. The spa also offers unique seasonal services that are tailored to the time of year. “This sets us apart from other spas because our menu is curated to give our guests a bespoke experience,” says Carbajal. For example, in the fall, the spa offered clients the Pumpkin Radiance Boosting & Firming Facial ($189, 50 minutes; $295, 80 minutes), which is described as an eight-course pumpkin facial; and the Red Hot Apple Toddy Manicure ($60, 50 minutes) and Pedicure ($80, 50 minutes), which includes an exfoliation with a blend of real Kentucky whiskey and brown sugar, a Texas honey and aloe wrap to lock in moisture, and an antioxidant-filled shea butter massage.

While Sothys Paris is the spa’s exclusive skincare provider and used in many of the spa’s treatments, The St. Regis Atlanta Spa also carries LEEF, an organic CBD line, Knesko’s all-natural collagen gel masks, and OPI nail polishes. These brands are also available in the spa’s retail area. “We make these products available for purchase so clients have the opportunity to continue their regimen with products used in their treatments,” says Carbajal.

According to Carbajal, guests come to The St. Regis Atlanta Spa for an unparalleled luxury spa experience and to feel pampered, and this is exactly what they can expect to receive during their entire visit. “We provide our guests with a luxurious and personal escape from the outside world,” says Carbajal. “The St. Regis Atlanta Spa is so grateful to have such loyal guests, including many who travel from around the world to come to our spa and receive the luxury treatment we promise to provide.”
