Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Protects Local Turtle Population

Located near the world’s third largest barrier reef, Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is devoted to protecting the area’s turtle population with a host of eco-minded initiatives. Plush turtles are placed in each suite and are available for purchase, with a percentage of each sale going to the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. SiSpa also comes to the aid of the turtles with its For the Love of the Si Turtles program, which donates 10 percent of sales from a 50-minute Signature Massage or Signature Facial.

A plush sea turtle (top) placed in each suite can be purchased in the boutique.

For guests interested in a private tour of the center, there is the Little Loggerhead overnight package (starting at $324 per night), which also involves guests in its Adopt A Sea Turtle program. A percentage of the proceeds are donated to the center. Such conservation efforts will certainly have guests coming out of their shells to participate.
