The Peninsula Beverly Hills Upgrades its Look and Treatment Menu

The Peninsula Beverly Hills recently completed a renovation of its 4,600-square-foot award-winning spa, The Peninsula Spa, located on the fifth floor next to the property’s rooftop pool and restaurant. The redesigned spa was conceptualized by Beverly Hills-based interior design firm Forchielli Glyn

“We put great care into embracing the residential charm of The Peninsula Beverly Hills as a haven for our guests,” says Offer Nissenbaum, managing director of the hotel. “The new design of the spa, much like our recently refreshed guest rooms, represents quintessential Beverly Hills luxury.”

Along with new detail including shimmering, textured wall-coverings, upgraded lighting, art fabricated by Art et Floritude in France, and more, the spa re-design also embraces several new features. Pink Himalayan salt dry saunas, which are activated by the heat, aid in releasing serotonin in the body to positively impact digestion, memory, and mood. A new hair and makeup studio gets guests red carpet ready with extensive menu of hairstyles, makeup, manicures, pedicures, luxury hair care products by Oribe, and champagne. The new spa cabana brings the spa outdoors with express treatments such as hydration treatments, reflexology, manicures, pedicures, and vitamin facials. Lastly, the upgraded serenity lounge now offers adult coloring books alongside an array of foods such as ginger and hibiscus tea, ginger and turmeric shots, gluten free zucchini muffins, and more.

The spa also launched new treatments and product lines exclusive to this property and The Peninsula Hotels located in the United States. The Peninsula Hotels launched its exclusive partnership with Subtle Energies, Australia-based Ayurveda Aromatherapy natural skincare and wellness solutions brand, for its first entry into the American market. Treatments are available at Peninsula’s New York and Chicago locations.

Adding Los Angeles to the list, The Peninsula Beverly Hills now offers Subtle Energies 24K Gold Age-Defying Facial ($265, 60 minutes; $395, 90 minutes) to enliven the skin while restoring emotional balance, Subtle Energies Blissful Marma Massage ($250, 60 minutes; $375, 90 minutes) to reduce stress and anxiety while improving overall wellbeing, and Subtle Energies Recovering Traveler ($415, 100 minutes) to assist in adrenal fatigue by balancing, resorting and maintaining immunity, muscle strength, and healthy skin through a full body detox massage.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is the only spa in Beverly Hills that currently offers two high-tech Medical Beauty Research’s facials. MBR The Age Defying Customized Facial ($395, 60 minutes) is a three-step process on the face, neck, and décolleté to prep, infuse, and seal the skin. This age-defying treatment accompanies pre and post-surgical procedures as well as for those wanting to reduce wrinkles, sun damage, and sagging skin. Secondly, MBR The Best & Ultimate Liquid Surgery Rejuvenation Facial ($1,600, 120 minutes) uses the MBR FibroBoost Complex, a patented anti-aging peptide, to support the skin cells’ natural signaling process to strengthen collagen and elastin fibers, preventing the skin sagging, and wrinkle formation.
