A Private Island Resort and Spa Get a New Lease on Life

After experiencing extensive damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Debbie in 2017, the Intercontinental Hayman Island Resort (Australia), located at the northernmost point of the Whitsunday archipelago, underwent a $95 million renovation.

Re-opened in July, the resort debuted the new Hayman Spa, which features 11 treatment rooms and the Spa Oasis, a hydrotherapy area with a plunge pool and sauna. In partnership with Sodashi, an Australian-based skincare line, the spa offers a holistic approach to beauty with a variety of facial and body therapies that nourish the mind, body, and spirit.

The resort also offers a number of wellness activities, including sunrise yoga sessions, clean eating concepts, detoxing body wraps, walking trails, and more.
