The Laura Hotel (Houston) opened its much-anticipated The Spa at The Laura Hotel on June 1. The full-service spa features a comprehensive menu that includes massages, facials, body treatments, mani-pedis, hair styling, waxing, and more. “We have a wonderful team with a highly trained massage therapist, estheticians, and stylists at The Spa to offer comprehensive services for locals, travelers, brides, mothers-to-be, or anyone who just needs some me time,” says spa director Gonzague Sallo. “With all the stresses in the world right now, it’s important that people also focus on wellness and relaxation to combat burnout and anxiety.”
The spa’s signature treatment is the H-Town Hot Stone Massage, which uses heated basalt stones to melt away tension and promote rest and relaxation. The massage experience can be further enhanced with aromatherapy. Another featured treatment is the Herbal Retreat, which combines the application of CBD oil to the skin with therapeutic massage to assist with the reduction of pain, inflammation, and anxiety.
The spa also offers a range of nailcare services, including:
CBD Manicure ($80, 50 minutes) and CBD Pedicure ($95, 50 minutes), which include a CBD scrub and massage cream from Vital Body Therapeutics.
The spa also offers experiential packages for a day of self-care, combining spa treatments with dining at Hull & Oak restaurant and/or lounging at The Laura Hotel’s pool, where the poolside menu will offer a selection of healthy choices. Current spa day packages include:
Self-Care in the City ($150 per person): This includes a 50-minute massage and use of The Laura Hotel’s pool.
Glow Up, Wind Down ($175 per person: This includes a facial and use of the pool.
