High-touch goes high-tech thanks to the debut of self-service beauty bar FaceX (Beverly Hills, CA), which provides a new twist on the self-care service model with a fully app-automated facial experience that promotes convenience and customization.

Founded by Abhishek Boinpally, a spa and salon veteran, and Jothi Prasad, a software engineer from Silicon Valley, FaceX incorporates an innovative app to make appointments, check in, pay, tip, and view a recommended homecare routine. It also allows guests to personalize their experience by customizing the lighting, aroma, and music. There is even a “do not disturb” option to ensure a chat-free environment.
