Spa L’Occitane by the Bay (San Francisco)

The French beauty brand L’Occitane said bonjour to San Francisco with the November debut of Spa L’Occitane by the Bay. The 6,200-square-foot spa, which is located on the hotel’s first floor, was created in partnership with the Sanghvi Group, which operates L’Occitane spas across five hotels in India. The spa design features a blend of modern and French provincial styles, such as a relaxation area featuring scenic portraits of the French countryside. The menu is also influenced by L’Occitane’s signature scents, with several of the 30-plus services infused with three popular fragrances—Immortelle, Lavender, and Verbena. Coinciding with the spa launch, select hotel suites now offer L’Occitane’s popular Verbena amenities. “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Spa L’Occitane by the Bay to The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco,” says general manager Bruce Gorelick. “L’Occitane’s award-winning history of luxury and service dovetail so well with The Ritz-Carlton brand by creating unrivaled, authentic spa experiences using the highest quality ingredients. This makes them an exciting addition to our landmark hotel, which will inspire new memories for guests.”
