MGM National Harbor (MD) has joined forces with Clarins for The Spa & Salon at MGM National Harbor, which opened in December. The 27,000-square-foot, two-level retreat includes 11 treatment rooms, a full-service salon, a fitness center, and more. Design elements include crisp, clean lines and monolithic materials found in the region’s iconic monuments; curving contours inspired by the boats and sails seen on the Potomac; and textures that call to mind the famed Washington, D.C., cherry blossoms. The menu, which was designed by Clarins, offers an assortment of massages, facials, and body treatments, including several services that are exclusive. “Tucked away from the bustling energy of the resort, the spa provides a relaxing retreat for guests looking for a full-day escape or for those popping in for a quick indulgence,” says Patrick Fisher, executive director of hotel operations for MGM National Harbor. “As a result of our partnership with Clarins, our guests will enjoy a truly special spa experience, with treatments unique to the region, and products that are best in class.”
