Irish seaweed lifestyle brand Voya has travelled across the ocean to expand its spa portfolio, officially launching its spa treatments at The Peninsula Hong Kong. The luxury hotel’s spa now presents a multitude of massages, body treatments, and skincare services that incorporate Voya products, all of which are certified organic, cruelty-free, fragrance and artificial color-free, and infused with wild seaweed. The seaweed is sustainably farmed and cultivated without harmful pesticides or fertilizer, which is in line with the brand and The Peninsula Hong Kong’s efforts toward environmental friendliness and sustainability.
While the hotel has been concentrating its efforts on the reduction of waste, reuse of resource, and human rights and outcome base community investments, Voya has been encouraging the biodiversity of reefs by hand-harvesting its seaweed and offsetting its carbon emissions with donations to The World Land Trust’s initiatives to save and support the rainforest. Furthermore, all Voya packaging comprises of recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials.
