World’s Largest ESPA Spa Opens in Doha

Mondrian Doha, SBE’s first hotel in the Middle East, has opened and features, among its many amenities, the world’s largest ESPA spa and the first ESPA in Qatar. Designed by acclaimed Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, it features six signature treatments, separate areas for men and women, a heat experience Souk, and a traditional Turkish Hammam.

The garden-inspired, women-only spa features open, white spaces and five treatment rooms as well as a multi-level heat experience garden filled with design features such as Swarovski crystal rain showers and an intricately carved wooden Finnish sauna. Women can enjoy specially designed treatments for expectant or nursing mothers as well as two manicure stations and two pedicure thrones with services from Margaret Dabbs. There is also a luxury hair salon. The male-only spa features a design inspired by the strong and vibrant urban souks of the region and includes the Heat Experience Souk, which features heated daybeds, wet and dry steam rooms, an ice fountain, and body-jet showers.

The Spa Café offers healthy options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, with a wide selection of freshly squeezed juices as the perfect way to relax, either before or after the Spa experience.

The Hammam at ESPA offers four signature experiences, like the Ultimate Hammam Journey, a two hour Hammam experience to cleanse, smooth, hydrate and nourish the skin, clear and awaken the mind, and banish muscular stress and tension.

ESPA at Mondrian Doha will premiere its new, clinically-proven LED phototherapy facial, the ESPA Dermalux Time Renew Facial, designed to reduce signs of aging and enhance the skin's natural radiance using non-invasive LED light technology and massage techniques that will also reduce wrinkles and fine lines. The 90 minute treatment makes skin complexion instantly looks brighter while feeling refined, firm and supple. Hydration and collagen production are enhanced, cellular rejuvenation is stimulated plus pigmentation, large pores and redness are diminished.
