The 138-year-old Los Angeles Athletic Club has teamed with several designers to renovate the workout areas, meeting spaces and locker rooms across its 12-story building, the company announced. The second phase of this $10 million project included refurbishments to the women's locker room as well as social lounges and meeting rooms. This phase will be completed and unveiled to the public on May 15.
The final phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, according to a media release provided to Club Industry.
Sculptor Richard Becker and interior designer Tracy Beckmann were involved in the renovations. The project was designed by SRK Architects and executed by contractor Phoenix Construction & Management.
