Chuan Spas Get a Unique Menu Refresh

The Chuan Spa at The Langham, Chicago features the Dream Room for guests to relax before and after services.

Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Chuan Spas at Langham Hotels & Resorts (multiple locations) are rolling out four new treatments this month in the U.S. locations. The following services were created in partnership with Comfort Zone and Skin Regimen and created exclusively for Chuan Spas.

  • Tibetan Sound Massage ($265, 80 minutes), designed to increase overall vitality, relieve muscle tension, alleviate anxiety, and improve sleep, incorporates two essential oil blends—one for serenity and one for vitality—and singing bowls to awaken the therapist and guest to the body-mind-emotion reconnection.

  • The Eastern Elements Ritual ($275, 80 minutes) is a bespoke fusion of Chinese Tui-Na and Indian Ayurveda. It involves shiatsu and Tui-Na elements, energizing compressions and waves, and focused meridian stimulation along the 12 primary yin-yang channels and marma points.

  • The Sacred Nature Ritual ($275, 80 minutes) blends Esalen massage, known for its healing and nurturing touch, and Bioenergetic-Shen Touch. It’s meant to elicit an emotional reaction and is ideal for pre-natal use.

  • The Urban Longevity Facial ($225, 50 minutes) addresses external factors, such as UV exposure and pollution. Designed to slow down lifestyle aging with a four-step custom regimen, the facial addresses stressed, dull, and aging skin.

Nurturing and comforting guests as a whole, the innovative treatments deliver a mindful and results-driven experience.
