The Spa at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco (Siena, Italy) recently partnered with Officina Profumo Farmaceutica Di Santa Maria Novella to introduce the renowned apothecary’s treasured face and bodycare line and a host of bespoke treatments at the iconic spa.

  • Santa Maria Novella – Tuscan Iris Embrace Ritual ($255, 80 minutes) Highlighting the iris, an ancient symbol of love, the treatment incorporates the powder of this precious flower and mixes it with hot iris oil to exfoliate the skin before a gentle massage.

  • Santa Maria Novella — Shine & Glow ($170, 50 minutes; $210, 80 minutes) Minimizing skin discoloration, this facial involves a peel with a mix of clarifying powders as well as iris, lupin, and nourishing oils. It also includes an arm exfoliation with a pomegranate scrub and a massage.

  • Santa Maria Novella – Tuscan Wine Embrace Ritual ($210, 50 minutes; $255, 80 minutes) This treatment features an intoxicating massage with an antioxidant grape-stone oil and finishes with a glass of the estate’s signature Brunello di Montalcino wine.

  • Santa Maria Novella – Perfect Skin ($188, 50 minutes; $233, 80 minutes) This facial restores the skin’s hydration with jojoba oil, avocado oil, and carob extract.

“We wanted to offer a spa indulgence that would immerse our guests in the beauty and heritage of Tuscany on a deeper level,” says spa manager Jesmin Aly. “Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is a natural partner for the spa and further underscores the resort’s commitment to honoring Italian wellness traditions through Rosewood's signature A Sense of Place philosophy.”
