Island Odyssey

Turquoise water, warm ocean breezes, and enticing spa treatments: That is just what guests will find at RafflesAmrita Spa at Raffles Resort Canouan Island, the Grenadines, which opened in the Caribbean last July.Though there is much to indulge in at the island resort, visitors will likely set their sights on experiencing one of the two over-water spa palapas. Accessible only by boat, the palapas feature glass floors that overlook a coral reef. Once there, guests can partake in an array of services that incorporate the spa's private-label aromatherapy oils as well as Phytomer and Kerstin Florian products. And to further the pleasure, every treatment—on and offshore—includes an extra half hour to allow guests to enjoy their private deck and the spa's signature teas. Island life was never better.— DeDe DeMoss
