Treatments On Tap: 3 New Brew-Inspired Treatments

To complement its Summer Sips and Sounds series featuring Wisconsin’s best bands and beers, The Spa at The Edgewater (Madison, WI) recently introduced three brew-inspired spa treatments. “Many of the vitamin-infused ingredients found in quality craft beers lend themselves to nourishing spa treatments, too,” says spa director Kelleye Heydon. Available through August, the following services are topped off with some of Wisconsin’s finest handcrafted beers.

Sweet Berry Body Treatment ($120, 60 minutes): This delicious service using FarmHouse Fresh products begins with an application of the Rasmopolitan Body Scrub with Premium Vodka and is followed by Pajama Paste Soothing Active Yogurt Mask and Strawberry Smash Double Moisturizer. Guests then enjoy a pint of Big Sister Witbier from Door County Brewing Co.

Stress Reliever Massage ($120, 60 minutes; $150, 90 minutes): Incorporating deep tissue and Swedish massage techniques, this soothing rubdown relies on a specialized tangerine essential oil to relax and reduce stress. It is paired with a refreshing Tangerine IPA from Potosi Brewing Company.

Three Beaches Honey Blonde Pedicure ($70, 75 minutes): After a foot soak, guests are treated to an exfoliation and a yogurt mask. The pedi concludes with a dose of Sunflower Honey-Butter Intensive Repair & Hydration and a pint of Three Beaches Honey Blonde, which is brewed by Tyranena.
