Universal Companies To Offer Six Classes At IECSC FL Nov 7-8

Leading spa supplier Universal Companies will be presenting six exciting and educational classes at the November International Esthetics, Cosmetics, and Spa Conference (IECSC) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Offered through Universal's Advance with Education program, no registration is required to attend these classes and they are free with admission to the show. A certificate of attendance will be to the participants completing each class.

Introduction to Bamboo-Fusion Massage

Bamboo-fusion massage is an exotic and innovative treatment designed especially for the spa environment. During the introductory class, founder Nathalie Cecilia will provide an overview and demonstration of the three different treatments: full-body relaxation or deep tissue massage using warm bamboo tools; chair/cold therapy using room temperature or chilled bamboo and rattan tools; and Bamboo-Visage, or facial massage.

Ethnic Skin Solutions

Learn what makes ethnic skin different from Caucasian skin, and the differences in treating each. This class will cover genetics of ethnic skin, including melanocytes, moles, and susceptibility to sun damage. Glands, sebum production, acne, cell structure, hyperpigmentation, and ingrown hairs will be discussed, as well. You'll finish the course with a broader understanding of ethnic skin care, and the potential to increase your client base. Demonstrations of the Lactic Facial with Vitamin C and also TCA with Vitamin A Micro Peel will be performed. You will receive a certificate of attendance.
