The Bravo Functional Trainer from Cybex is a total training system on which users can perform more than 300 exercises to enhance strength, movement, coordination and core integration. Users experience nearly twice the core muscle activation of traditional cable training while being able to lift the same weight as they would in a fully stabilized position. Cybex has made improvements to the trainer, which was first introduced in late 2008 as the FT-450. It features a progressive stabilization pad that lets users incrementally modify their stability to introduce specific challenges for different functional tasks. It also has cable width and height adjustment, so the resistance direction can be completely controlled. The trainer occupies a 6-foot-by-6-foot area.

STRETCHING TOOL
Created by primary care physician Dr. Matthew Kulka, TendoFlex is a new product that combines spinal range of motion exercises and abdominal core strengthening exercises. It was designed to enhance stretching techniques and improve flexibility to help alleviate back stiffness, muscle tightness and aching. LOCKERS
Bradley Corp.'s new line of Lenox Gear Lockers is designed to be wider and deeper than standard lockers, featuring more room for bulkier items, such as athletic gear. Each locker has a built-in seating area and open-faced closet area for equipment storage, plus two lockable storage areas, including a large foot locker and standard cubby locker. In addition, each locker's upper shelf contains a standard cubby locker with a full-length slide latch for security. The locker handles also are available with anti-microbial protective coating, which will not wash or wear away. SKI TRAINER
The SkiErg, made by Concept2, helps athletes build strength and endurance in a sport-specific motion. Its performance monitor gives users accurate, comparable feedback, which allows the user to assess output, monitor progress and compare scores with others. The SkiErg exercises the entire body. Each pull engages the legs, arms, shoulders and core in a downwards “crunch,” using body weight to help accelerate the handles. Each pull finishes by extending the arms down along the hips with knees partly bent. The motion on the SkiErg also can be adapted to athletes with lower leg injuries.
