Andaz Maui Teams up with Miraval Austin for Global Wellness Week

Timed to Global Wellness Week, Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is partnering with Miraval Austin for a second annual Seasons of Aloha culinary and wellness collaboration designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit. From June 2-5, executive chef Ben Baker of Miraval Austin will visit the resort for a three-day event and culinary collaboration.

Taking place throughout Andaz Maui’s six distinct culinary venues, the event will bring together Chef Baker and the Andaz Maui expert culinary team to share their diverse perspectives on wellness and cuisine. Chef Baker will share Miraval’s signature approach to mindful eating, connecting guests with what’s on the table and where it came from, and offer approachable tools to create new habits that support holistic wellbeing and longevity. 

Highlights of the collaboration include: 

  • A six-course wellness-forward dinner under the stars on the resort’s Nohea Lawn, celebrating the rich connection between Hawai‘i’s land and sea and showcasing locally sourced ingredients, sustainable seafood, and thoughtfully crafted island flavors with optional zero-proof beverage pairings.

  • Two interactive plant-based Texas BBQ cooking classes led by Chef Baker, a culinary experience celebrating mindful, plant-based Texas BBQ featuring locally sourced mushrooms from Mother Mushrooms, where guests will discover smoky flavors, chef-led techniques, and the unexpected connection between Austin wellness cuisine and the spirit of Maui.
