How J. Lo Got Her Glow for Superbowl 2020

“Hustlers” star and entertainer extraordinaire Jennifer Lopez made sure everything was perfect for her performance during the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show, including her signature “J. Lo Glow.”

In preparation, luxury facialist Toska Husted, owner of Toska European Spa (Charlotte, NC), flew to Miami to give Lopez a Toska’s Triple Lift Luxury Facial ($495) a week before the big game. “Jennifer is naturally beautiful and very sweet, her positive energy is infectious,” says Husted. “She works so incredibly hard so she deserved a little extra pampering. She was a pleasure to work with!”

All the products Toska used on Lopez were from French skincare line Biologique Recherche. The treatment began with a deep cleanse, using Solution Demaquillante Pour Les Yeaux to remove Lopez’s eye makeup, Eau Micellaire for an initial cleanse, and Lait VIP02 for a second cleanse. Toska then applied an exfoliating toner, P50 1970, to refine the pores. The chemical exfoliant was followed by the manual lift, which involves using a concoction of acids, botanical extracts, and silk proteins to continue exfoliating the skin, as well as a lifting manual sculpting massage.

Afterwards, Toska applied and infused with galvanic currents from the Remodeling Face Machine a custom concoction of serums, including A Glyca, Colostrum, and Matriciel Visage. Masking came after, using Biomagic, Masque Vip02, and Creme Masque Vernix. Patch Defatigante were then used to de-puff and revive the eye area.

The facial was finished off with microcurrent technology to tone the facial muscles and a cocktail of La Grande Cream, Serum Yall02, and Le Grand finishing serum, resulting in a deeply hydrated, smooth, and lifted look to the skin.

It's safe to say that Toska’s treatment techniques paid off, leaving Lopez glowing, sculpted, and youthful throughout her historic performance at Hard Rock Stadium last weekend.
