Mii Amo Partners with Former NFL Pro for Transformational Yoga and Meditation Retreat

Mii Amo, the world-class destination spa located among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, is enouraging guests to get a breath of fresh air this holiday season by attending the “Ignite Your Greatness” retreat. December 7-10, guests will join guide Keith Mitchell, NFL all-pro player-turned-yogi, as he leads this unique retreat. Attendees will be encouraged to clear their minds and take a respite from all stresses as they focus on relishing in the present. In addition to motivational activities, this all-inclusive retreat will include private accommodations, two daily spa treatments, and healthful cuisine at the Mii Amo Café.

After a life-changing football injury that left Mitchell partially paralyzed, he discovered yoga and meditation as a form of recovery. Now Mitchell strives to share his inspirational transformation as a motivational mindfulness coach, holistic health and fitness advocate, community activist, and humanitarian. As one of the world’s leading destination spas, Mii Amo will join forces with Mitchell to synergize the destination spa’s awe-inspiring natural surroundings and powerful Native American connection with Mitchell’s expertise in self-empowerment to create the ultimate wellness experience. “We are thrilled to be hosting this event and feel that Keith’s holistic wellness teachings are a perfect fit for our guests,” says Doreen Young Mii Amo spa director. “This retreat will be a perfect way to center yourself and become re-energized before the holidays.”

During the three-day retreat, guests will journey through transformation with an opening ritual and reception at the spa’s Crystal Grotto. Retreat workshop topics will include learning physical and spiritual practices, discovering self-healing tools to combat life’s daily stresses, and exploring rituals designed to integrate all newfound tools into daily life.
