GSN Planet (GSN) has announced the appointments of two industry veterans to its board of directors: Teresa Flyger, director of global brand wellness at Hilton Worldwide, and Sallie Fraenkel, founder and president of Mind Body Spirit Network.
Flyger, who has 20 years of industry experience as a development project manager for spas and fitness centers, has developed award-winning projects with multi-cultural teams across the globe. Most recently Flyger joined the Hilton team, where she focuses on creating unique wellness spaces and guest experiences. She has worked with numerous wellness consulting teams as well as architectural and interior design firms.
“For many years I have known that GSN resonates with my personal mission of promoting wellness, luxury, and personal care in a way that is environmentally socially responsible,” says Flyger. “GSN stands out amongst the organizations as one that I can truly support and look forward to what we can do together in the near future.”
Prior to founding Mind Body Spirit Network in 2014, Fraenkel served as both chief marketing officer and chief operating officer of Spa Finder and executive vice president of the Global Wellness Summit. Fraenkel brings with her more than 30 years of experience in the spa, wellness, and entertainment industries. In addition to overseeing Mind Body Spirit Network, she also serves on several non-profit boards including Gift of Hope, NYSPA, and as a co-chair of the Social Impact Initiative for the Global Wellness Institute.
“Becoming part of the GSN board is very exciting for me as my personal belief that one cannot have true wellness of the individual without wellness of the planet is so closely aligned with that of the organization,” says Fraenkel. “It’s a privilege to serve with such dedicated and talented group of spa/wellness professionals who give their time and energy to this organization.”
