Cynosure Appoints Anne Gates to Board of Directors

Leading global aesthetics company Cynosure has recruited Anne Gates to join its board of directors. Gates has extensive experience in the consumer product arena, having formerly been the president of toy industry giant MGA Entertainment as well as the executive vice president and CFO of The Walt Disney Company’s Consumer Products Division. She has also held positions at PepsiCo Inc., Bear Stearns & Company Inc., AT&T, and Bell Labs, and presently serves as the chairman of the audit committee on the Tapestry Inc. board of directors, as the chair of the audit committee on The Kroger Company Board of Directors, and on the audit and risk committee of the Raymond James Financial Inc. board of directors. In her new position, Gates will chair Cynosure’s audit committee.
