Dallas Symposium to Reconstruct Surgeons’ Skills of Facial Plastic Surgery

Back for its 12th event, The International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery will present innovative treatments for facial plastic surgery at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel on October 15-18. Presented by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies (IFFPSS), the event will introduce the latest breakthroughs within the facial plastic surgery community.

Facial Plastic Surgery Event

This year's theme is “Transform Our World—Enhance Your Practice,” which will focus on hands-on courses so individuals can increase their conference experience. Held every four years, the symposium has previously focused on new procedures within rhinoplasty, face-lifts, endoscopic brow treatments, and mid-face lifts. This year, the October event will continue to focus on these four topics while also highlighting resolutions to aging, cleft lip repairs, and various skincare treatments.

Through networking, panels, and workshops, surgeons from around the world have the opportunity to take their skill and combine it with the latest care that the medical industry has to offer. The event will address the issues of medical professionals who specialize in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, dermatology, and otolaryngology.

Expecting an attendance of 700 people, attenddees will enjoy presentations from knowledgeable experts, such as chair members John L. Frodel, M.D., Mary Lynn Moran, M.D., Krishna G. Patel, M.D., and Phillip R. Langsdon, M.D., who is the organization’s Meetings Director. In addition, world-class speakers from more than 35 countries will attend the event.

As the largest organization for facial plastic surgery, the AAFPRS represents more than 2,500 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world. For more info on AAFPRS, IFFPSS, and the upcoming symposium, including how to attend or exhibit, visit the official symposium website.
