Dr. Pimple Popper Has a New Blemish Cream Perfect for Med Spas

Sandra Lee, M.D., also known as Dr. Pimple Popper, is providing us with more than just our guilty-pleasure-pimple-popping-videos. Early last week Dr. Pimple Popper's launched her new SLMD Blemish Cream.

The cream, which is designed to treat sensitive, acneic skin, contains 3 percent sulfur to clear up acne without leaving the skin dry, flaky, or irritated. The sulfur works by inhabiting the growth of acne-causing bacteria, regulating oil production, and exfoliating the skin.

Lee recommends incorporating the cream into your existing skincare regimen, though using it as a standalone acne fighter will work as well. The best use of the Blemish Cream is as a treatment, or step two of the SLMD Acne System. According to Lee, the cream is ideal to use in place of a benzoyl peroxide acne lotion.

The new launch coincided with the debut of Dr. Pimple Popper's new TV show This is Zit, which premiered, Wednesday, Jan. 3, on TLC.
