Merz Aesthetics has launched its inaugural Innovation Forum with a call for novel and creative abstract submissions from newer medical aesthetic clinicians and researchers who have been in practice for less than five years. Abstracts can be submitted via the Merz Innovation Forum website until Jan. 31, 2021, and five finalists—selected by a panel of esteemed medical esthetic clinicians—will be announced in Feb. 2021. The five finalists will then compete by submitting videos about their work, and an overall winner will be chosen by the aforementioned panel as well as other healthcare professionals by June 2021. All five finalists will have the opportunity to experience the Merz Aesthetics Expert Summit (MEXS) 2021 in Vienna next fall, and the winner will present their submission on the main stage. “Merz Aesthetics is thrilled to offer the next generation of talented researchers and clinicians in the space a new and exciting opportunity to showcase their work in medical aesthetics through the Innovation Forum,” says Terri Phillips, M.D., chief medical affairs officer of Merz Aesthetics. “Our ultimate goal is to spark creativity, encourage unique thinking and drive innovation in medical aesthetics.”
