RealSelf recently released its latest Aesthetics Trend Report, which highlights the 20 nonsurgical and surgical procedures that saw the highest year-over-year growth in interest. According to the new report, interest in cosmetic surgery revision and corrective procedures is increasing on RealSelf, with one nonsurgical and four surgical treatments ranking among the year’s fastest-growing treatments. The 2019 Aesthetics Trend Report is based on traffic from consumers in the U.S. who researched cosmetic treatments on RealSelf.com between January 1, 2019 and October 31, 2019.
According to the report, one of the most notable trends from this year’s report is the prevalence of treatments meant to correct or revise previous cosmetic surgeries. For example, hyaluronidase, an injectable enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid–based fillers, ranks No. 3 on the list of fastest-growing nonsurgical treatments.
