After hosting two successful Women in Wellness Leadership Conferences in New York City in 2018 and 2019, American Spa heard the pleas of its West Coast readers and answered the call to bring the inspiring event out west. On October 28, 2019, approximately 200 attendees—of all genders—gathered at The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel in Huntington Beach, CA, for the inaugural West Coast edition of American Spa's Women in Wellness Leadership Conference. Much like the events before it, the West Coast conference received rave reviews from attendees across the spa and wellness industries.
"I’m so thrilled with how our West Coast event went. The speakers were thought provoking, the experiences were unforgettable, and the setting was divine," says Julie Keller Callaghan, vice president of content and business development, Questex Wellness Group, and the founder of American Spa Women in Wellness Leadership Conferences. "But the most powerful part of the day were the connections between the attendees. There is nothing more magical than watching women (and men) support other women to help them grow and thrive, and I’m so thrilled that we were able to create an environment to make that happen."
