Cidesco has announced the speaker lineup for its 67th World Congress and Exhibition, taking place September 19-23 at Chicago’s Willis Tower. At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in seminars, workshops, and education sessions led by industry experts.
The lineup kicks off with Samuel Shatkin Jr. M.D., board-certified plastic surgeon and medical director of the Aesthetic Associates Centre for Plastic Surgery and Advanced Skin Care (Buffalo, NY), who will be discussing the effects of light therapy in “Illuminating Medical Esthetics—Shining a Light on Low-Level Light Therapy.”
Jacqueline Kennedy, Cidesco diplomat and Cidesco international business development officer, and Lydia Sarfati, Cidesco USA chair and founder and CEO of Repêchage, will be offering solutions to apparent aging in talks titled “Cidesco Age-Defying Signature Facial” and “Renew and Lift: Non-Invasive Solutions to Improve the Signs of Aging.”
Attendees will also have the chance to hear Jens Bergström, founder of Tattoo and Piercing Education Scandinavia, speak about necessary precautions when tattooing in “Breaking the Skin Barrier and Keeping it Safe.” Mark Lees, founder and CEO of Mark Lees Skin Care, will present “Clearing Concepts: What Every Esthetician Should Know About Acne-Prone Skin.”
Other speakers include Carol Phillips, a Cidesco diplomat, spa consultant, professional speaker and author, leading “Cha-Ching: Six Ways to Turbo Charge Your Sales” and Andrea Bovero, Cidesco International PR Committee and founder of the Spa Academy Life Excellence Italy, sharing “Cosmetics and Rituals: Welcome to the Future.”
The conference will conclude with “Modern Modalities in the Treatment Room” demonstrated by Elaine Sterling, Cidesco diplomat and owner of the Elaine Sterling Institute (Atlanta, GA) and “Incorporating Viennese Massage to Enhance the Skin,” demonstrated by Cynthia Malcom, Cidesco diplomat and owner of Edgar Renee Aesthetic Education (Columbus, OH).
